Race Information

The Terry O’Gara Memorial 5k Road Race is our annual race, open to all, held in memory of our dearly beloved and much-missed former chairman who sadly passed away in 2012.

This years event will be held on Sunday April 23rd 2023.

The flat, fast, largely traffic-free course will take place at Cobalt Business Park, starting from the West Allotment Country Park.

Parking

120 spaces are available close to our Race HQ at Cobalt Unit 30. We’d encourage car sharing where possible.

10:00 – Junior Fun Run

£3 per child – entry on the day only – card or correct change appreciated!
All competitors get a medal.

10:30 – The 10th Terry O’Gara Memorial 5k

Cash prizes for our first three males and females over the finish line.

The course route is available here.

The course record is 14:48, ran by Cameron Boyek in 2016.
The ladies record is 16:15 ran by Stacey Smith in 2017.
